Your rules for the AI
Rules every connected assistant receives at every job, before it touches your code. Write them once: they apply to Claude, Cursor, Copilot and the others alike. They stay inside TokenSaver, encrypted: no file is written into your project.
Good to know
Where: Notebooks › House rules › Red lines, one per line. They apply to the whole project, and the assistant asks before crossing one.
Examples: “Never touch the customer data folder”, “Always reply in English”, “Ask me before changing the database”. The app offers them ready to add with one click.
Every other notebook has its own Rules too, only for that part of the project.

Top bar
Always visible: the project, the AI connection, when the map and the notebooks were last used, your time and the Pause button.
Good to know
Hover any item for details; click it for a small menu with just the essentials.
On a narrow window, the items that don't fit move into the “More” menu, always whole.
AI shows “MCP on” while an assistant has TokenSaver open.
Notebooks turns yellow when files changed after the last note. “Ask the AI to record them” sends the list to your assistant at its next step.
Time is shown in hours and minutes. With a Lifetime license the timer button is disabled: your time never runs out.
Pause stops assistants from getting project data. Press it again to resume.
If you step away for a while the app notices, and welcomes you back when you return.
The “?” at the end opens the in-app Guide on the page you are looking at.

Dashboard
The control center: what is being watched, what the assistant did recently, and the health of the map.
Good to know
Start here after opening the app.
Notices about new suggestions or problems appear here first.
Work4 / 14
Code Map
The map your assistant uses, shown to you: folders, files and their parts, plus a 3D overview.
Good to know
The 3D view is view-only: drag to rotate, scroll to zoom. It never moves by itself.
An open file uses the whole page, and the map mode (“Memory only” or “Encrypted copy on disk”) stays in view.
Work5 / 14
Activity
A timeline of events grouped by day, newest first, and a summary of the session.
Good to know
Filters only change what you see; nothing is deleted.
Each section opens and closes with a click on its title. On a narrow window, the “Show:” menu picks the section you see.
Project6 / 14
Workspace
Choose the active project and keep a list of recent ones.
Good to know
“Activate” switches project: the current one stops, your files are not touched.
The assistants you connected move to the new project by themselves: restart them to use it.
Project7 / 14
What the AI sees
What goes into the map, what stays out and why, in one place. TokenSaver recognises your project type and looks for what the assistant doesn't need.
Good to know
Not mapped: the folder is left out of the map.
Private: no assistant can read files in that folder.
Suggestions are grouped by what they are (copies, program data, generated, heavy) and are never applied on their own. Keep, exclude, or decide later.
If an automatically skipped folder holds your own code, use “Always map”.
Project8 / 14
Notebooks
The project memory: the facts, the reasons behind each change, and your rules.
Good to know
Your rules for the AI live here, under House rules (see the first entry).
At the top is the AI board: assistants leave questions, doubts and unfinished work, and you answer from here.
When files change and no assistant explains why, TokenSaver writes a note by itself with the facts it knows.
Anything unclear is listed under Anomalies so you can check it.
Every entry has the same parts — Request, Done, Tests, Files, Problems, To do, How to undo — and stays on one line until you click it. A colored dot shows how the job went.
Filter entries with “With problems”, “With things to do”, “Today” or “For this file…”; older ones come with “Show 20 more”.
Next to each file of an entry: Map, Open and Edit. What is left to do goes on the AI board with “Put on the board”.
A notebook opens on the whole page; “All notebooks” takes you back to the list.
Project9 / 14
AI Connections
Connect or disconnect each assistant with one click.
Good to know
Restart the assistant after connecting it.
When you switch project, connected assistants point to the new folder: restart them. If one is still on the old folder, TokenSaver tells it so: press “Reconnect” here and restart it.
Some assistants also offer an end-of-work check: a box you can turn on to make sure changes are always explained.

Account & License
Your sign-in, your license, the computers it is tied to, your security and the app version.
Good to know
You sign in with your account name (private) and password. Others only see your nickname.
Keep your recovery code somewhere safe: without email it's how you get back in from another PC. You can create a new one here.
A license works on one computer at a time. Under Your PCs you can move it yourself a few times a month.
Security notices tell you if someone asked to recover your account: if it wasn't you, press "No, block it".
Sign out / switch account: each account on the same PC keeps its own projects, maps and settings.
Each section opens and closes with a click on its title. Under Your PCs, “Copy id” copies a PC's id. Times are shown in your own time zone.
If your sign-in has expired, Your PCs and Security notices ask you to sign in again: your license keeps working meanwhile.
An orange dot in the menu means a new version is out.

Settings
Appearance, interface size, how the map is kept while the app is open, and what stays on disk after closing.
Good to know
Interface size goes from 90% to 150% — handy on small or very large screens.

Guide
This manual, inside the app: what each page is for, an example and what to do. It works offline.
Good to know
The “?” in the top bar opens it on the page you are looking at.
