Terms and license

By downloading, installing or using TokenSaver you accept the End User License Agreement below.

About this text

This is the English translation of the End User License Agreement (EULA). The French version prevails; it is shown and accepted during installation. Questions: tokensaver.support@gmail.com.

1. PURPOSE

This agreement sets the terms under which you ("the User") may install and use TokenSaver Studio Pro, its updates and documentation ("the Software"). By installing or using the Software you accept it. If you do not, do not install or use the Software.

2. OWNERSHIP

The Software is protected by copyright. It is licensed, not sold. The publisher keeps all rights not expressly granted to you.

3. LICENSE

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for your own projects, on the number of computers and for the duration of your plan (trial, hours, days or lifetime), under this agreement.

4. RESTRICTIONS

Except where the law expressly allows it (in particular article L. 122-6-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code), you may not: copy, distribute, rent, lend, sell or make the Software available; modify, decompile, disassemble or reconstruct its source code; bypass, disable or alter the license, the usage-time control or any protection measure; share your account or license beyond your plan; use the Software to build a competing product that reproduces it. Your own projects, tools, parsers or servers remain yours: this agreement takes no rights away from them.

5. ACCOUNT AND ONLINE LICENSE

The Software requires an account and regularly checks the license with the publisher's server. Account name, password and recovery code are personal: keep them private. Accounts have no email address, so the recovery code is the way back in if you forget your password or account name. You are responsible for keeping them secret and for the security of your computer and of your Windows user account. On your computer the Software can show your recovery code again, only after you type your password: anyone who knows your password and uses your computer could see it. The publisher cannot know who uses your credentials, your recovery code or your computer, and is not liable for losses caused by their disclosure or by other people using your computer, except where the publisher is at fault. If you think someone else knows your code, create a new one from the Account page: the old one stops working. The publisher may suspend a license that breaches this agreement, after informing you except in urgent cases.

6. PERSONAL DATA

The Software processes limited data (account name and nickname, technical identifier of the computer, IP address, usage counters, support messages). Your code map is built on your computer and is not sent to the publisher. The AIs connected to the Software may note, in generic words, tools the Software lacks for your project; these notes, cleaned of code, paths and names, are sent to the publisher to improve the Software, unless you turn this off in the Settings of the Software. Details, retention periods and your rights (access, rectification, deletion, portability) are in the privacy policy on the website. You can download your data and delete your account from the Account page of the Software.

7. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS

The Software includes open source components under their own licenses, listed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt shipped with the Software.

8. UPDATES

The publisher may offer updates. Updates are checked by digital signature before installation and may be required for the online license to keep working.

9. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

The Software is a development aid: you remain responsible for your code, your backups and how you (or an AI) use the results. If you are a consumer, you keep the statutory conformity guarantees for digital content and services; nothing in this agreement limits them. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damages (data loss, loss of chance, business interruption). This does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct, personal injury, or where the law forbids it.

10. TERM

This agreement applies while you use the Software. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the Software and, if you wish, deleting your account. When it ends you must stop using the Software.

11. CHANGES

The publisher may change this agreement; the new version applies to new versions of the Software and is shown to you when you install or update.

12. GOVERNING LAW

French law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring a claim before the competent court. In case of a problem, please first contact tokensaver.support@gmail.com for an amicable solution.
